ENRICHMENT FOR STUDENTS

In addition to training with High Tech's professional faculty, students will have the opportunity to study with many guests artists and learn legendary choreography from master teachers in the professional dance world.  This furthers their perspective on technique, styles of dance, performance skills and career opportunities.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES

As a dance major, you have the opportunity to perform in the December showcase, dance jam and engage in the production of the annual concert in the Spring.  The dance concert requires students to take on various roles including choreographer and dancer in addition to making decisions on lighting, costumes, sound, set design, advertising and ticket sales.

Although this major requires a lot of physical and mental discipline, it will be extremely rewarding!

AUDITIONS

Admission to the Dance Program is by audition only. 

Auditions take place for incoming freshmen in January.
